Santa Fe- What a beautiful town!

We recently took a trip to Santa Fe, New Mexico to visit my Grandma Liz and Grandpa Jim.  It was a (some-what) central location to meet up for a quick visit and see one another before we leave for Costa Rica.  Our drive was around 5 hours and Grandma’s was around 8… not necessarily fair to make the “elders” drive so much farther, but I think we both agree that Santa Fe is really worth it and a wonderful time was had by all.

We visited the Plaza full of shops and wonderful stucco buildings and we saw the Larretto Chapel with a “mysterious” staircase.  After a 20 minute drive we visited the Shidoni sculpture gardens where we walked around and enjoyed some eclectic art work.  We had fantastic food, and we enjoyed each other’s company.  What more can you ask for from a “weekend” getaway.  I will really miss hanging out with my grandma, but I am so glad we had a chance to catch up and hug before we leave.  Next stop is Illinois to visit Mom and Pop… very excited for that. 🙂

Not as excited as we are!! Everything is so green and I’ve got the pool open. 🙂 Can’t wait to see Karma and how her and Keiko (Ms. Bossy Pants) is going to make out.
Love you both,
Dad “S”
